We compare supported exchanges using available public market data for your selected conversion. The execution estimate uses the relevant bid or ask side and visible order-book depth. Estimated fees are included only where a defensible public baseline is configured.

Market data sources
Market data comes only from official public exchange APIs. The browser requests them directly first; when CORS or network access prevents that, TradingHub may use its same-origin read-only relay. No CoinGecko, CoinMarketCap, CryptoCompare or CoinPaprika price feed is used. Exchange data-use terms and regional eligibility remain separate from ranking.

How conversion works
Market value, executable price and amount after fees are separate outputs. Fiat → crypto consumes the ask side; crypto → fiat consumes the bid side. Larger conversions walk multiple visible order-book levels when available.
Why exchange prices differ
Order books, spreads, liquidity and fee tiers differ by venue. The tool therefore compares the estimated target amount for the same input instead of ranking exchanges by headline price alone.
How fees affect the result
Trading fees can depend on account tier, 30-day volume, jurisdiction and order type. Where the applicable fee cannot be known from public context, the comparison labels it as not included instead of inventing precision.
Exchange comparison methodology
The ranking is deterministic. Referral URLs are attached only after execution results are calculated and have zero weight in ranking. Cross routes are disclosed whenever a direct market is not used.
Data sources and freshness
Every successful quote carries an exchange, market symbol, source, timestamp and freshness status. Stale or incomplete data is not presented as a live lowest-cost conclusion.
