Create and preserve an observable recap
Open the existing recap generator, select a market and review its measurement time, chart timezone, source labels and unavailable fields. Use its PNG download, Copy recap or Share controls to preserve the result. The export captures that observation; a link to the generator alone can show a different snapshot later.
For a dated comparison, retain both source snapshots, their times and timezones, symbols, contract types, units and venue coverage. State the measured difference and percentage change ((new ÷ old) − 1) × 100. Separate a reported change from a proposed explanation; price, coverage and USD valuation can change OI without the same change in contract count.
Dated entries are published only after the underlying observations and source coverage can be checked. Missing days stay missing; model assumptions cannot substitute for recorded data. For definitions, consult OI interpretation and data methodology.
